increase horse power!!!!!

hi, i have a 1980 california vette lg4 305. in keeping with the originality of the car, what can one do to increase hp without taking away from the originality.

Depends on what you consider originality. For truly original, you can't change anything. If you only want to look original, a cam swap will probably give you the most bang for the buck and can't be seen. Just a thought. Also, rear end gear changes can make a huge performance differance, and again can't bee seen.
