Ign problems

Its Factory Electronic Ign H.E.I. . When it got Cold the last time i changed the Module same day and it started right up , now its gone out again same kind of cold . and i don`t know what to do but put another module in it , But will it go out again? Help !!!!!!!!!!!

Is the coil in the cap or mounted seperate?

Ok, what gauge wire is connected to + terminal in cap and what brand modules are you using?

I`ve been a mechanic all my life , but Electronic ign . are not my strong point. i`ve had problem in the past with old points and condensers, and had problems with to much power to the dist.and a bad coil ,but this drives me nuts. it`s stock wiring harness, never been rewired ,same old ign switch . so i`m thinking new cap new coil, new module , but what i sam thinkig is what about the ting that looks like a condener sould i replace that too ?
