inner fender help

I bought a pair of inner fenders that i was told were for 68-72, but i believe they have turned out to be 74-79 since they have the bump in the hood hinge reinforcement area. Can I still use these for my 68

Not without a little work. The inner corners on the 73-79 skirts are trimmed to fit around the crash bumper mounting hardware. 68-72 items are not trimmed in this fashion.

Can anyone tell if these are for 68-72 or 74 up?

Those look like 68-72 to me. Are they aftermarket or GM? If they are GM, there is probably a part number on them.

thanks guys, these are aftermarket. I was just worried as the area where the rad/hood hinge brace reinforcement has a dip, where i was told that area should be straight for pre 72s and was worried it wouldnt fit the wheel opening properly
