I am new to the forum and thought I would post a problem with my 2001 Z06 that someone may be able to provide some sound advice.
The car is away for the season and I thought it was a good time to analyze the problems before I sent the car to the dealer for repairs.

Here are the symptoms:
TCS and ABS lights on the dash both on.
The HVAC control has no power to the dash.
Diagnostic codes as follows:
PCM: P1571 C H, P1689 C H
TCS: No Comms
BCM: B0432 C H - this relates to a broken wire for the rear defrost circuit.
SDM: U1040 C H
HVAC: No Comms

Prior to putting away for the winter, I thought I might have grounding problems, so I cleaned the two grounds in the engine bay and found the problems did not change. Have started the car over the winter, reset from the battery not connected has had no effect on the problems.
That is about it, hope someone can point me in the right direction.

HI there,
It looks like your ABS module is NOT talking to the PCM, creating your issue.
You would first have to check to make sure you have power and grounds to the module, if so, you most likely will need a module.
Allthebest, c4c5

c4c5specialist offered a good clue, however, I'm curious about the lack of communication from the hvac and it's appearent lack of B+

If you want to solve these problems on a DIY basis, my advice is to obtain the 2001 factory service manual, then use its diagnosis and repair data to fix them.

Great advice. Will look into the obtaining a service manual.

Thanks a bunch.
