Interior Lamp Timer

Anyone know where one could pick up a new INTERIOR LAMP TIMER...Seems dealers say they are discontinued, TLD-not available...Ecklers-Discontinued...anyone know a secret place? 84-89 are the same

Not new but have friend who has totaled 89 that may sell his. Where is it located on car?? How much is it worth??

you have a Picture of one? I may still have mine from my interior swap. It worked when I removed it

I just replaced mine. Give John at Coastal Corvette in Mimms FL. a call. Sorry I don't have the # on me. He parts a ton of C4's and a great vette guy. For a picture of one see my old post. "Electrical problem" under C4 tech forum..

Anybody with a spare one or a known bad one...I would love to have it for purposes of reverse engineering so I can repair them...
For whoever sends me one gets free repair should yours go out.
Otherwise CAC members pay for parts and shipping...

I had the same thing in mind. I've got two bad ones. One doesn't time out and the other one doesn't work at all(no power to hatch switches or int. lights). I was going to bench them but if you like, send me a PM with your address and I'll send them to you.

Just recently burned our mine trying to make a keyless entry work on my 89.
I located a brand new one from carparts.com (they are in partnership with JC Whitney). I plugged in the part number 10098435 on the web site and it matched. It cost me $22.31 plus shipping. It was a direct replacement made by AC Delco.

That part also controls your hatchback release.

VetteGarage...I tried your suggestion and it comes up as a headlight switch. #10098435.... I asked someone that was working on theres to read me the # on the unit ...he told me it was 10098345 not 10098435

I have the part and the invoice in my hand now. The numbers are correct for my 89. The descriiption does come up as a Headlamp Switch, but it was exactly what I needed.
