I own a 1997 Coupe. The lights inside the window/door lock/memory seat controls have burned out on both sides of the car. The little bulbs inside can be removed but my dealer says there is no part number listed for them so there is no replacement available. He did offer to sell me new units that have bulbs already installed. Now the lamp that illuminates the driver's side of the dual zone climate control is also burned out.

Can anyone out there help me find these damn bulbs!

Also, the LCD display in my dual zone climate control no longer functions. Sometimes it will light up, but pretty much of the time it just doesn't work. Is there a fix for the problem, or do I need to replace the unit?

Thanks for the help,

Manuel

The LCD in temp control is a common problem but the only fix I know is to replace the head unit. Try GM Parts direct. They were the lowest price when I had this problem on my 98 Coupe.

I'm glad I read your posting. I just bought a whole drivers side switch assembly for my C5 on Ebay for $35. I tore my old switch apart and saved the bulbs, thinking they may come in handy later. I'm glad I saved them. You might do the same thing. I got 4 bulbs out of the old unit. - Ron
