Im replacing the carpet and door panels. I want everything to match in color which is med. red.My ? is do all the supply houses get the carpet and door panels from a common supply or do they have there own version of colors. I just want to be sure the colors match. Any help would be appreciated.

aerie- dont know about the door panels b/c I did not replace mine.
On the carpet issue, it seems just about all the supply houses get theirs from one supply house- ACC- (forgot what that stands for) but you can call your supplier and they can match your color needs. It would be helpful to have the trim code number from the factory plate if you're going back with the stock colors.
I recently ordered floor mats from Willcox supply, they spent a lot of time with me on the phone to insure the color was right- even had me go in the attic to look for numbers on the carpet kit box to make sure . Good people and great prices, you may want to call them too. I'm sure they will answer your other questions on door panels, etc.

Most door panels come from Corvette america and most carpet comes from Auto Custom Carpets.Auto Custom Carpets sells a line of carpet called Tru vette which basically means it is supposed to be a perfect match.If your car came with carpet on the bottom of the door panels,order them with out carpet.The carpet kit comes with the door panel pieces.

interior replacement

I have just replaced all the interior of my 1981. I ordered the set from Auto Custom Carpets and I found the color to be a little lighter than the original, but that was ok. The thing I didn't like was I ordered floor mats one year earlier and they were a little darker. So to make sure they all match order it all at once, thats your best bet.
