I have a 1973 coupe with a deluxe black interior. If i use interior dye from Corvette America on the trim parts, will it look orginal? Also, what type of paint do i use for the shifter plat?

Fyi- I used that vinyl/leather spray on the interior trim. It looks stock to the original color. The only problem is that the old trim colors fade and then you have to keep spraying around. I found it very easy to use. If your interior is deluxe then you should have wood around the plate. Are you talking about the interior 4 speed shifter boot area?
