To say I'm busy with other things besides my vette would be a drastic understatement. As a result my paint looks pretty oxidized. Not much time to maintain it and it's a driver. I wondered if anyone knew of a wipe-on/wipe-off product that would restore a decent shine w/o me having to sand the whole car down and compound it?

I've seen such things in commercials years ago but not recently. Maybe it was snake oil I dunno.

Any suggestions?

thanks

There's no substitute for elbow grease. Not even snake oil.
If it's too rough it will need some serious rubbing, unless the clear coat is worn through.
I would try some 3M medium cut rubbing compound and hand rub it to see if you can get it fairly smooth. I have had good results with Colinite insulator wax and Formula 113 mixed 50/50 to protect it for another year. It won't take more than an afternoon to find out if it can be salvaged.

Hi

Or you bring it to a pro , specialized for paint restoring / polishing.

Good luck. Gunther
