I am going to install the original seats/buckets in my 1980 corvette. Is there a right seat and a left seat and if so how do I tell them apart? Or will each seat fit either right or left side?

The seat bases will work on either side- as will the uppers. For a non-power seat, it's the sliders that determine which side is which. :thumb

On power seats, the buttons face towards the door on the side they correspond to. So the driver's seat has them on the left and the passenger seat on the right.

EDIT: I have a power seat so its been a while since I've been in a C3 with manual tracks on both sides. I did find an image with the sliders and they appear to be the same.:chuckle

So how do I tell which "slider" fits on which side?

No problem!

Yeah, I thought about adding something about that. But then I got side tracked. :chuckle

The driver's side slider will have the adjuster lever facing inwards towards the right while the passenger side will face towards the left. The slider without an adjuster can be used on either side.

With my seats the knob slides the same way on both seats; to the right I believe. I guess they'll still work in there OK?
