is there an option plate on C1?

As many of you know, I am in the process of reassembling my '59 project. On my '66 Chevelle, there is a plate on the firewall that displays the VIN as well as the option codes for that particular model-

Do the 'Vettes have the same type of plate? Is there something on the firewall that tells you the car had red interior, power windows, etc?

Nope,
The trim tag stated with the '63 model, nothing before that. Only ID is the VIN.

You can often find the original color (exterior) written in green crayon on the trunk fiberglass divider panel. You'll have to gently scrape the paint off to find it underneath. Usually on the passengers side. You can sometimes find it written in crayon behind the passengers seat. You'll sometimes see "HT" if the car originally had a hardtop. Chuck
