I am looking to do some mods to my 71 stingray. I want to change the dash, council, making it curve around the driver and put new digital gauges etc...
Kind a make it look like a new vette inside, keeping the old style outside

Anything is possible with enough time and money......I think your car interior looks great now.....just saying.........I don't know of anything aftermarket that just plugs in but someone may have some ideas.......digital gauges are available I'm sure....

Anything is possible if you got enough $$$$ but I like to keep them OEM all the way, just me and too much mods take away not only the beauty but value sometimes. At any rate to each their own and welcome abaord :happyanim:

Welcome to the Forum Steve. Get hold of a parts breakdown of the interior and see how the "Bones" are laid out. Then get a good fabricator to work your plan. :w

I don't want to change it up too much but making it smoother in the dash to mimic the newer vettes, I even have plans using something like the new stingray emblem. I'll have to figure it out but I want to change the clutch over to hydraulic, and change the interior to a modern feel using "some" of the original items like the heat-air control bezel. - Thanks for the welcome guys!

See spme really neat changes made to some classics

Modernazation is :cool!: post some pictures when you get started. Seen some of this done quite tastefully too. I don't think I'm that talented to undertake these kinds of things ;shrug

I will post pictures... I have never done anything like this either but I'm a brave one... LOL I did little projects here and there but this will be my biggest and hopefully my best work. Details to come.

Look forward to seeing how it comes out

Look forward to seeing how it comes out. . . . I was going to do a frame off restoration on a 1972 LT-1 but decided at my age I would be doing it for someone else to enjoy the fruits of my labor, so giving up those plans. Not to mention finding the 72 LT-1 is next to impossible for a decent price and most of them have been restored and cost a small fortune :ohnoes
