That's interesting.

I wonder why they grouped '66-'82 together? I can understand '82 being the upper year, but what's up with '66 for the low year? I wonder if it's an error and was supposed to be '68.

The figures are compiled from actual thefts of cars covered by Hagerty's.

It's funny that you posted this today. Did they also have it in the USA Today?? My buddy called me up today and ask me what the #1 car stolen is? So I answer Honda Accord which is if you look at all thiefts. Then he goes no. A radio station reported these numbers as vintage vettes being the number one car stolen. They must have forgot to mention that the report was talking about vintage cars insured by Hagerty. It's still very good reading. I would think that most of us practice these points as best we can under normal situations. I have a question though while we're on the subject if you put LOJACK on a midyear or any car for that question where would you think the best place would be? I guess I'm hijacking a threat but it's a good question to go along with this thread..Dave:Steer Oh yea also just to rub it in I just got in from a nice hour drive:cool :cool :cool :cool
