Is your windshield frame rusted?

FYI: A lot of C3's have this problem. I noticed when I got mine that when I hit a bump, rust bits would drop out from the top of the "T". A good indicator that the frame is shot are cracks in the moulding under the T - showing that the damn windshield is resting on that instead of the frame. The cost to fix this was a little under 2k. Occasionally, during a really big rain, I see some rusty water trailing down my posts. Now that I have seen your pictures I am afraid to look closer!!! :cry
