The sister project to Killer is now well under way. Dave Bacher (TZracer) has owned this original numbers matching 454 four speed coupe for some time now. The frame actually rotted out from under the car, and the "bird cage" had also developed a serious case of car cancer.

The car is now sporting a fully welded, gusseted (per Chevy Power Book Standards) powder coated replacement frame, replacement bird cage, full VB&P performance plus suspension, new fuel lines, brakes, etc, with hub bearings up front, and 1/2" wheel studs.......

Over the next couple of months I will be pouring my spare time into hand fitting the doors, front clip, then adding front fender flares, and attempting to perfect the body for a super hot black paint job.

Here is what we have to work with now.

You can see more about this vette under

www.tropiczoneracing.com click on the race car, then enter the site and check out the street vette link.

Here is another angle.

I had to bust butt on cleaning up the shop since the 90 vette had been sitting here dead since mid September.

I will work out my schedule so we can put together a specific tech session for those of you that would like some hands on experience. We will also look into creating a video segment.

Hey! There's a lot more room in that garage since I was there! :L

that will be up to Dave, but I think he will most likely do a filter top like I have on the 69
