Question: Item found on the nose of my 1993 Corvette mounted fairly close to the drivers side headlight

Found a small black box with arrow on one side and three pin wire coming out going thru the firewall on drivers side of care and not sure what it is for. Here are all the numbers on the bottom of the board when I took the box apart to try and determine what it was. Doesnt look like a factory install.19 MAR 93 200-R5X4NM-B2 PCB MNBD 615R /STR REV B. The onlymanufacturer name i could find was Bell. Really would appreiate someones help for me to find out what it is.

Possibly a 'hidden' radar detector. That's the receiver. In a Corvette, they mount them on the 'floor' of the bumper under the headlight, because the plastic material of the bumper is transparent to radar waves.

Yep, Had one on my '90. Obsolete Radar detector box.
