Today Mic and I did all the final checks, set the idle and timing, and actually took the Vette out of the garage under its own power! Did about a mile or two (tomorrow I'll change the oil and filter from the moly) and came home. Had to tighten the valve covers, and I've got a leak where the transmission line goes into the radiator (a new coupling that must not be tight enough), and I think the timing is too advanced, but other than that it's running! :J
Also did the new hood prop rod. Had to cut a corner from the existing fender brace, and I think I need to reroute some wires, but it's in and working well. SOO much easier to open the hood, too. Anyone need a scissors-type prop rod?
