its finally happened ,the dreaded no start

i have owned my blk car for 5 years and been lucky , the dreaded no start has finally happened to me . battery is @13.3 nd load tests fine . the security light is blinking so i dont think its a vats issue (but i could be wrong ) i hit the key and nada . i watch the volts gauge and it doesnt go down when i turn the key . does thet mean the clutch switch is out .? i replaced the starter last year . so whats the proceedure. i thgink maybe the blk car is ****ed off cuz i got the white callaway zr1 .? she has been perfect till i got the white one go figure . HELPotfl

its throwing code 46 . does that mean my key is bad? help

Brad I had alot of vats problems with my 87 vette and it drove me crazy. Any Chevrolet dealer can check the key (free of charge usually) to see if it is still good and what code it is. Before you spend alot of money replacing parts you can buy a vats bypass chip to go in your ECM. It will hook in series with your factory or perfomance prom. it takes about 1 hour to install and then vats is completely disabled no wires cut and no ripping apart your whole car looking for the culprit. I found the bypass chip on ebay for about $80. I spent $2000.00 before and still had problems. Good luck and any way I can help feel free to contact me Tommy

thanx tom ,thankyou to all who helped . i got lucky .t turned out to be the little pillin one key went bad . i was told to disconnct both cables for 20-30 min . i did and then hooked her up and vroom she started . so i guess betty(black car ) isnt jealous about deb white car . of at leas ti hope not
