that cause so much enjoyment.

I started the process of replacing my valve seal on cylinder #2 (plug was oil coated after about 3 hours of driving to the point of misfire).

Was bumping over the engine to bring the piston up to top and all of a sudden water started coming out of the spark plug hole.

Never seen that one before.

Was going to pull the engine in winter to go through and restore the engine bay (just got done with the interior), but looks like a new project has decided to start early on me.

Heck, it's so hot in Texas right now, I guess I would rather be driving in winter than summer anyway.

The wife should be thrilled. (A new project to spend money on) :L

I feel for ya! Do understand the wrenchin' needed in doing a rebuild. My "small thing in life" of owning my '5 was to simply convert my hydraulic (300/327) to solids (LT1). Seemed pretty straightforward...Pull the radiator, shroud, front of the motor and intake only my little project grew to a full rebuild of the motor as well as the trans. Oh while we're at it, new heads, water pump, harmonic balancer, clutch, pressure plate throwout bearing, pilot bushing, refaced the flywheel, rebuild/restore the Holley and the factory distributor. Heck while it's all out detail the engine compartment :L

Life's a blast! Enjoy the drive!!! :beer

This started out as an oil change. ;)

TO 67HEAVEN re:oil change

67HEAVEN: ;) A little too thorough in your detailing eh? Lucky you didn't do a lube too! No wonder the guys at Quick Lube runs for the hills when you drive in! This guy always wants the "Works" for $19.99. LOL Catch you later.:L
