This year's Corvettes at Carlisle show is destined to be one to remember, as GM race-car driver Johnny O'Connell for the full three-day event. O'Connell is one of the most recognizable names in the Corvette Racing pantheon, having won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times and earned the title of most successful American Le Mans driver in history. Starting in the early stages of Corvette's return to factory-backed racing, O'Connell helped propel the team to victory lane time and time again, both as a driver and in his role helping to develop the cars' suspension systems.
Now O'Connell has his own line of suspension parts, developed in concert with Pfadt Race Engineering. Pfadt is among the aftermarket's most respected manufacturers of race-quality chassis and suspension products, and the company currently offers a full line of parts for C5 and C6 Corvettes.
Corvette owners and fans who attend the Carlisle show are invited to stop by the Pfadt Race Engineering booth to meet O'Connell and talk everything "Vette" with him, be it performance driving, suspension setup, or even race stories.
