I did some overzealous driving the other day, nothing new for me tho. Now I have the ABS & the EARLY TRACTION CONTROL & SYM lights on. I want to pull the codes but after doing a few searches I get conflicting info. I made some jumper wires in work yesterday to avoid the paper clip or just shoven a wire in there. Thanks.

BTW, its the ALDL but I cant edit the Title.

If your '93 has an OBD 1 ALDL jumper pins A & B (two upper right) to get the SES codes flashing.
If it's OBD 2 you will need to use a scan tool.

ALCL is correct also.

Assembly Line Data Link or Assembly Line Communications Link.

Thanks guys,I did some research & came up with this link.
C4 Diagnostic Trouble Codes | CC Tech
Acording to that is A&G. In my old 85 it was A&B . I havent done it yet,Life gets in the way thing.I drove it last week & the lights did not appear. It may be stored in the Memory.

To get ABS/TCS fault codes, ground to pin G of the DLC.

To read the codes, you need either a Tech 1 with the appropriate software or use "CCM diagnostics. The 93 EBTCM does not display fault codes by flashing the ABS Service light. If you have the T1 then read the manual on how to use it.

To read fault codes with CCM diagnostics...

Ground pin G of the DLC
Key on, engine off
The CCM will begin to auto display fault codes for most controllers on the car using the speed display in the IP cluster. It does this by modes and you want to watch for codes in mode 9.1 which is the EBTCM.

To clear codes:
press "trip/reset" button the DIC until mode 9.0 appears on the trip monitor part of the IP cluster
pess and hold the "trip/odo" button on the DIC until 9.7 shows in the trip monitor
press and hold the "eng/met" button on the DIC until " - - -" shows on the speed display on the IP cluster
key off
key back on, engine off
verify codes are cleared
key off
remove the G to ground jumper

For more information on this, there is a long section in the factory service manual on CCM diagnostics.

Thanks Hib. Ill give it a shot this weekend & see what I come up with. This is another new learning process for me on this 93.
