Well where does one begin,

First and foremost above everything else...ALL the folks from the CAC forum who came over to meet me and see my car....I want to thank all of you, especially Doug, Barry, Larry, Rich Lagasse...and the list goes one...I appreciate from the bottom of my heart your time that you took to come over to the NCCC area and meet me and see my car. I have to apologize to the group at the 63-67 Registry, I did not spend any time with you and I regret this, but the compition was EXTREMELY tough at the NCCC Concours this year.

I wanted and think I did thank each and every one of you who I met for yours support, and encouragement during my 3 long years of building this car...

Well regarding the Concours,,,, I took first place in my class and first place in my catagory...Two different judged comps.... I scored 99.5 out of 100 points, the next guy below scored 98...second. If you came over you saw my competition...EXCELLENT Corvettes the second place guy had one of fifty L89 67 Big Block and it was beautiful... My 1/2 point deduction was a piece of white thread in my carpet???? but its gone now...

I will post photos soon,,,,, but I am way to tired ...went to favorite Chinese place and had a few Mia Tias to relax. My God did the event go by fast this year...

I am so proud of the final result of my car and just as proud of all the people who came over to meet me and my wife from this forum. MANY MANY THANKS to ALL.....

I will be with you next year...this CONCOURS stuff is too Much work, I did not even get a chance to walk around...I spend entire time (FRIDAY - SUNDAY) with the car and going over EVERY INCH...again many many thanks and it was so nice to meet all of you..

Congradulations on Finishing your car. Also on doing so well with the judging. Do I also understand you also got a celeberty pick? WOW what a great week end.

Your midyear looked spectacular.

And the C5 is also a beutiful car and the modifications are very tastefully done.

Pleasure meeting you and your wife.

But definately you need a nice gold chain or two ;)

OH NO, NO GOLD CHAINS,,, I don't qualify, I know what a caburator does.... Thanks...You it was a great week end...and loved it... Love just meeting you and the rest of the guys...

Collin, congrats to you on your outstanding accomplishment! I'm sorry I didn't get to see your car, I was looking forward to it, but I couldn't make the show. I'm sure I will catch up with you and your awesome SWC somewhere soon.

a HUGE congrats on your 1st place awards! After seeing your car in person I would have been surprised at anything less as your car was spectacular and perfect. What a great job your restorers did. I know you are very proud of the car and for good reason. All that time and effort was really worth it.
1/2 point for a piece of white thread?? Geez, I guess they really had to find something to nitpick - did they use a magnifing glass to find it?

CONGRATS! :beer

Colin, Congrats on your first place!! Your car is perfect. I'm glad your engine showed as well as the rest of the car. I was great meeting you and seeing a beautiful example of hard work and dedication.

Time to put on those new wheels yet?

Colin,

I was great meeting you. Too bad the rain cut our meeting short. It was a privilege to help you and Doug with the covers.:)

Collin,

Congratulations on the NCCC awards. :upthumbs After what you have been through to finish the car it has to be especially rewarding to have all the work and effort recognized.
