Eight of fuel line stands between me and having the TPI swap complete!!!!!

I would have been done last night but I couldn't find the two feet of high pressure fuel line in the garage. Grrrr...

Oh well. There is always this evening.

I found a great way to access the frame adjacent to the gas tank- remove the outer most tail lamp. I can fit my arm and hand back there through the bumper to gt to the area I'm working on easily.

I also came up with a neat bracket for the MAP sensor. My TPI was oiginally a MAF unit, so I didn't have a bracket for the MAP sensor. I picked up a flat piece of aluminum from the hardware store that is about a half inch wide and I bent it to fit the contour of the plenum from the vacuum port up to whee the sensor will mount. It is very simply in design but workd great.

Stay tuned- I may have running as early as tomorrow!!!

Cool don't forget to use fuel injection spec clamps on that high pressure line.
Since doing my TPI swap I have been using them on all my fuel lines I like them so much.

Absolutely.

I learned that lesson back in 1998.

FYI- Autozone sells FI Goodyear hose by the foot.:D
