It has 98000 miles
What should I do first to make sure all is OK.
I had a 85 vette 4 years ago which I loved. The wife crashed it twice so I sold it. This time she does not get the key. I got her a Jimmy to crash.
I would like to know from you guys is what to look for and what parts I should think about replacing or getting. Man I am the happiest guy I the world.

PS If anyone has a dealer build sheet (has options and price ect) for the 96 LT4 CE, could you Email me a copy .

You can get YOUR build sheet from the National Corvette Museum I believe. Just give em the vin & $40. or so.

I'd start with all fluids including tran, rear end, clutch & brake.

Congrats on your LT4, they are a wild ride.

I got a chuckle out of your screen name, was it inspired from the two crashes of the 85?

Like froggy47 says, fresh fluids would be a good place to start. I would consider a four wheel alignment if you have any doubts that it could be off.

Overall I’d check for cracked or heat damaged rubber hoses, also pull the black plastic fuel rail covers to inspect there. For piece of mind; on the manifold, the positive crank case ventilation (PCV valve) is a cheap thing to replace.

At the front of the car, I would take a flashlight and check to make sure that debris has not collected in front of your radiator. You should also check from the passenger side as there is cut out in the shroud for a visual inspection.

It’s pretty much the same care as you gave to your 85. Congrats on being reunited with the C4, they are grate cars.
