I installed them today and love the sound.
When I first took the car out for a drive I thought they were too quiet, and I wished I had gotten the Borla XR-1 race system instead.
After really getting in to it, a couple of times, it definately got a lot louder. I was suspicious that a pipe had shifted and was resting on the floor pan, but I put it back in the air and all was in place. I re-torqued all the flange bolts and clamps.
I'm really happy with it now, but I can't get a grip on why the sound level changed so drastically in just a twenty mile ride on local roads.
Has anyone else experienced this with the stinger, or have any theorys?
I can't believe that this was a result of the computer adjusting the fuel trim because of the improved exhaust flow.
