K&N OIL FILTER?

I plan on using a K&N oil filter because i was told by some that i may quiet the piston slap that bugs the heck out of me.would this filter void my GMPP because its not a oem part???:W

I don't know whether it would help the piston slap, but it should not affect any warranty.

The filter will also be easier to take off on your next oil change too due to the 1-inch fastener on the bottom.
