km/h odometer scale

I know that Canadian and Swiss cars sometimes show up with km/scaled odometers.

Does anyone know when this became standard in Canada ?

Did the C3's have the km/h scale either ?

All new cars sold in Canada since 1977 were required to display in metric.

As noted the metric speedos and odometers were introduced about September of 1977 for the 1978 automobile model year. Here is a pic from my former 1979 L-82.
