Hey all, just thought I'd let you know that I'll be getting back my block and heads friday! I'm having them assemble the small block so all I have to do is bolt on the cleaned and ported heads (with valve job of course).

While cleaning the engine bay 2 weeks ago, I became frustrated on how the control arms were preventing me from getting all of the nooks and crannies clean. Needless to say, discovering the obliterated bushings on them gave me enough reason to take apart the front suspension. The bushings were literally crumbling, so I'm sure the new poly's should tighten everything to better than new.

Boy, this project keeps getting bigger! I can't wait to get it back together so I can wait yet again to experience the bliss of driving it next spring!

I always say double what you think you are going to do and then count yourself lucky if you get away with that.
Projects always grow as we dissassemble things, How about some specs and pictures make sure you have tit done in time to come to the cruise-fest

I don't think i'll make the cruise fest. My car is off the road until the streets clean up in mid spring. I'm planning on having several "bugs" to sort out after I get everything back together!
