L-88 Intake height?

I'm trying to find the front and rear height of an L-88 intake manifold.

Specifically the vertical measurement from the base of the intake to the top of the intake(where the carb is mounted) F/R

Can anyone help?

There's gotta be someone with an L-88 intake on this board! I'd appreciate any help.

L88 injtake height

Len, I have a 3886093 intake(unverified for '67 Corvette L88----but "Covins" says that height specs are the same). From the top of the intake runners to the carb base is 2 15/16" (rear), and 2 1/2" (front). Hope this helps.

But could you measure from the base of the intake(where it meets the block-near the water pump) and the rear (dist end, where the intake meets the block) to the top of the carb base. Should be 4 inches or so.

L88 intake height

Len, here's what I get on both the 093 intake and the 163 intake----rear is 5 & 1/16"---front is 4 & 7/16". If you send your e mail address, I can snap some photos with a straight edge/ruler , but I think said photos will just confirm the measurements I have given you.

From the block at the rear to the carb base of the manifold is 5 5/8 ths. inches. You will not be able to use a stock big block hood. L88`s require a taller hood.

Thanks Wally, the intake I have now measures 4.75F and 5.75R. I'm trying to use my L-88 Hood and functioning air chamber.
