L88 Hood Insulation

Hello I just installed a L88 Hood on my 75 L82 do I need to Install insulation on this hood, I haven't seen any pics with it on only the air box witch I do not have , The outside of the hood seens to get quite hot............?

It won't hurt to do it, but I prefer to leave that off.

None on mine, on a black car, with a big block awful close to the hood. No worries.

Some like the look of the foil back stuff cause it makes a little flash under the hood at shows, etc.

Your choice.

I agre, never did like insulation under the hood was thinking semi gloss black ,just wanted to make shure it wasen't a need.
