Lambo doors

Hi all has anyone done a lambo door kit an a C4 I talked to some people and they said that there is not one made because the hinges are offset so would anyone know where to get one or some who has done it.Any info you can give would be appericated.

I just posted a similar thread. They have had c4 lambo door kits for many years now,i had a friend that had them on his ZR-1 c4,but he moved away and i dont have pics.
Heres a pic i found of another c4,they make lambo its for almost any car,c3,hondas etc... a company called "dream customs" or something has them in stainless steel for c4s for 1200 bucks.

Yes, it really is a very detailed car. It does well at corvette shows.
 
Is there an advantage to the lambo doors ?

If you're talking practicality, I recall one selling point was less space required to open the door. I don't park that close anyway for the other guy's door. :w
 
I dont think practicality would be a reason to go to a lambo door. Although you do gain a little easier access. Costs I've heard are near $1500 to have it professionally done. I have also heard it is a major pita to do it yourself. But, if you just plain like the look or consider it to be cool, then costs won't deter you. Myself, I'll pass.
