Langka Update!!!!!!!

I have been playing with it for a couple of weeks and find it ok,not great, but ok.

My biggest problem is that l cut up a white shirt to apply the lacquer remover and forgot that l used light starch from the cleaners.

Yep! It left little scratch lines probably in the clear coat.

What can l do to rid myself of those lines??

So you are telling me that this so called langka product is for the birds or l applied to much pressure using the langka.

Is there anyway l can get rid of the light scratches? How about applying a little top coat over it?

You cannot see the scratches unless you look a certain way!

I dont know much about the Langka system .I was just wondering if a little rubbing compound would get rid of the scratches.Are they discolored or just scratches?If they are just scratches they should rub out.

They are very light scratches from the way the product has to be rubbed in.

No l'm barely applying any pressure.

Langka system

You don't mention what the shirt that you used was made of. 100% cotton bedsheet or pillow case with a tight weave works well. An all cotton T-shirt comes in a close second.

Like the instructions recommend, did you try the product in an out of the way area first?

Did you use the blue card? Did you rub out just the top surface of the paint blob or did you rub a more general area?

I'm certain that Langka did not contribute to any scratches. I have not had any problems here. This product appears to simply disolve away the touch-up paint as you rub and does not affect the original paint if used properly. The only problem I've had is that the touch-up paint does not perfectly color match.

Let paintdaddy guide you in removing the scratches.

My business is the making of knit fabric's for the sportswear (womans) market.
What l did was, used a swatch from one of my 100% cotton shirts, but l just realized that l have my shirts lightly starched. I really forgot, because l haven't worn a white shirt in a dog's age. l also have !00% combed cotton light weight jersey that l will wash tonight with the remains of my white shirt.

The color matches perfectly. Torch Red, from GM.

As far as l'm concerned the Langka might just be a product that has to be done over and over until you get the feel of it.

I agree 100%. If you mess up or remove too much of the blob, you just clean it up and start over. Seems like great stuff to me. But as you said, you may need to acquire the right touch. I did one rock chip over again 4 times! I just wish the white paint was a better match, although by all appearances it is the correct paint.
