Hi Elaine, funny you should ask about Langka....I was just at a detailing get together this past Sun. The Detailing Dude drove over 4 hours(one way) to show us some tips.
One of the demonstrations was on paint chip repairs. He was real impressed with the Langka product. It was explained to us that it was used for paint chip repairs. The Detailing Dude had instructed the lady that helped organize the get-together to touch up any paint chips on her 96 torch red coupe. She had done so on the previous Thurs.
Basically, you take the cloth and cover the plastic business card size applicator. Apply the Langka to the cloth and start rubbing about a 2" area around the stone chip touch-up spot. You'll notice the paint from the touch-up discolor the white cloth as you rub it. What the product does is smooth over the touch-up paint glob and blend it in to where it is practically invisible. It must be a very mild abrasive as the original paint looked untouched.
I was amazed at the results. I'll definately be touching up my stone chips and using the Langka product with confidence now. The Detailing Dude also mentioned that he has used it on stone chip touch-ups that were over 2 years old with the same result. He is sold on it.....as well as the rest of us at the seminar.
For those of you attending the CAC cruise fest in Auburn, the Detailing Dude is scheduled to be there. Let me tell you, this guy is a WEALTH of information on detailing your vette.
Elaine.....see you in Carlisle
