To get my U to Z rated tires for open road racing- which wheel seize/tire seize combo would work best? I haven't a clue. And should a person stagger the front to rear in wheel seize and tire seize and if so just for looks or does the car handle better staggered that way?

I personally like 17x8 with 4.5 inch backspace. You MAY need about 20mm or so of offset- regardless, make sure the back side of the mounting pad for the rim doesn't hit the calipers. Offset will get you that but some wheels don't need offset because of their design.
