Hi all. Im new here to the C1-C2 Forum, I usually hang out in C3 land.
I just got off the phone with my dad, whos restoring a 1960 vette right now. We are pretty excited right now cause the guy at Corvette America (when asking for his vin to determine early or late 60), exclaimed that the vette is the last 60 to roll off the line according to his literature!
Of course we are keeping our hopes down until confirmaition...
Can I get some help here with the VIN?

Sorry about the title, thats a C1...

I feel like I just thought I won the lottery...

Nevermind, false alarm.
its 10261...
The dude from CA made us well excited!

Well, since the C1 line went to 62, it certainly won't be the last C1...might be the last 60, though.

That's okay. You can hang out here in C1/C2 land anytime. ;)

If the serial number is indeed 00867S110261 it is the last 1960 built. There should be 6 numbers after the letter S. The number sequence ran from 100001 to 110261. Looks like you may have a winner.

iT'S A WINNER !!

What condition and options are on the car? Great care should be taken to document the body and car in restoration. After all, it is the last car with the rear end that was basically used for 5 years from 56 thru 60.
