That SC Callaway would look even slicker with a hardtop though...

When I was thinking about my options for my 2008, I ruled out another convertible because the soft top frame tends to square off the roof line of the car. I've put the hardtop back on my 1991 CTTC for that same reason (plus its been a while since it was on).

Not that I would change my mind as to what I am going with my Crystal Red 2008, but had I seen these aftermarket hartops, I might have thought twice. I wonder if Callaway would design a set of removable flying butresses for a C16 Cabrio with a hardtop? (hint, hint)

There are several pictures of that Callaway that I didn't link in, it definitely caught my eye and stood out as soon as he rolled up to park near me. I do agree though, it would have been better in a hard top...but then I'm in that group of taste that doesn't like a vert except for in just a few select cars. Callaway and Lingenfelter both seemed to have a nice little representation this weekend.

Chris,
Were you there? I handed out alot of pamplets for the 08 Callaway. The car got alot of attention but we were late for the show and had to park at the auxilary lot. The Lingenfelters were over the top. I spoke with Koos Pettinga from Corvette Europe and he was discussing his relationship with Callaway Europe. We had some common friendships from my time operating GMAC Netherlands. Interesting weekend.

Jim, I remained back home for most of the week - I did however, go to Carlisle for the Spring Swap Meet. Another gentleman (Jeff) was at Carlisle the day before with his 2007 Callaway SC car and I just missed him. He was heading down the C5/C6 Bash.

I will be in Bowling Green at the end of next week for the C4 Gathering :w
