I'm stupid. First off, i dont keep the nice, fancy leather clad owners manual in the Corvette. I keep it on my book shelf. The other day, i get a book, read some of it, put it back and notice some resistance and push it in. Turns out that resistance was the bottom of my nice, fancy leather clad owners manual. Yup, tore a big huge gap in the back. I'm stupid. I should have been more careful.

Now, the question: Where can i purchase a new one? i've see the owner manuals themselves for sale... but never the leather cases.

Look in the back of your owner's manual. Should be just after the section on Customer Assistance Information. You will see an order form from HELM, the publisher's of your owner's manual. It's for the whole package, but call them and ask if you can buy just the leather case/portfolio. Never hurts to ask. :w

I bought one from Helms for my 93 last year. It included the manual though. I remember it being around $60.00. At least you get the nifty corvette pen with it. I don't remember if it came with a flashlight like the newer ones have. I looked on ebay before I bought the one from Helms, and there were a few for sale, but the prices weren't that much better than a new one from Helms.
