Having owed both a C3 and C4, I can tell you the C4 had more leg and head room. I have never been in a C5 so some one else will have to make that comparison. I am 6' tall and could not imagine even being 6'1" in that car! Not sure if the specific year makes a difference, though the different types seats available throughout each generation may vary slightly. I know the seats are different in 78 and 79... that may only translate to a marginal difference however. I sure wish my seat would go back another inch or two.
