It's not to early to start the thought/planning process for us mid-year owners to consider meeting at Corvettes @ Carlisle August 22-24. If your up to driving and want to have the best time you can imagine, give it some serious thought. It's perfect for us to gather at the 63-67 Registry area on the fun field. If you can do the three days it's $45 gets two people in the gate each day and your car parked on the grass.

I'm a little new at this. Do you take the car back to the hotel every night? If you leave it how do you get back to the hotel?

Sounds good to me. I went last year with a buddy and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I've only owned my vette for a year now and don't know if it will be ready for an 8 1/2 hour drive each way but I am still going. I would like to meet all the folks that have anserwed my tech questions over the last several months so I could try to get it so someday it will be able to make the trip.
Last year I made my reservations late and could only get a room an hour away. Does anyone have the names of a few motels/hotels in the area so I can call and make reservations this week. Or if there are ones I should stay away from $%^%^^
Also if I may suggest..
If people had a small sign/tag on thier car or shirt with thier CAC name so we could identify them. Just a thought.

dennis I will contact you when I get back into town ,I plan on coming in with the wife and kids.I am coming in from southern NY about 30 to 40 mins north of NYC so if there are fellows in my area we might see if we can hook up for the ride out.

Grizzly, You take your car back-n-forth each day. Get there early in the AM as in 8 to get good parking. The fun show is very popular and it fills up.
Larry, good idea, I'll be talking to Midyear to make sure of the hotel reservations. I assume you carried yours over from last year.
Markymiester Contact Corvettes @ Carlisle for a list of hotels, do it now, but don't be surprised when you start calling to find many of them full.
