Lets see your L98 engine bays. I wanted to see how you guys dress them up and if anyone painted their intakes and etc.

Here's my 1990.

Anyone know where I can get a new one of that part on the right rear of the engine where the white insulation is split open? The dealer computer shows they still have the 1989 part, but 1990 is discontinued.

Before I pulled the L82 and repainted the engine compartment... my big "dress up" was polishing the aluminum. The SLP runners look great when polished.

Took mine off. Looks better but be careful gets hot.

That is the exhaust tube to the EGR valve. The 89 and 90 are diff.? Think I saw them in midamerica or ecklers .

I dug around some more and found that midamerica sells just the insulation sleeve and it velcros on. Thanks.

I replaced mine with one like this - works great.
