Did anybody see the article on the latest, what Ligenfelter calls his 427 Vette? A LS1 was previously thought to attain 383 Cubes maximum bore, due to thin cylinder walls. Ligenfelter has found a way to get 428 cubes using a new alloy cylinder sleeve to allow this displacement. Ofcourse for name sake he has called it a 427. The car is a real beast. Maybe someone out there (71SHARK) has the 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4 mi. times on this thing. From what I remember, it was like 3.4 to 60, and 0-100 was around 8.0 sec. The 1/4 mi. was like 11.0 at around 130 mph. No turbo or supercharger all natural.

:L:L Todd, you crack me up. If memory serves me correctly (it often doesn't) that car was part of the supertuner shootout that included a Mallet, Ling'er, Mercedes, an old 94 RX-7, and a few others. I think I did in fact hold on to that one so I'll check when I get home.

In the meantime, this may hold you. I found the following specs from the Lingenfelter website. They also have videos you can view of their cars racing.

No, I haven't been home yet, but I did find the supertuner shootout article online and it was a 427 but no turbo. I'll keep searching. :)

I'm not sure of non-turbo. As far as the 427 cu. Stage 2 Twin Turbo goes, i've heard numbers of 9.0-9.5 sec
