Lingenfelter ZR-1 Aerobody: Where are they??

I understand from Lingenfelter that 5 or maybe 6 Aerobody cars/kits have been sold and that they think 3 have been built. Does anyone know anything about them, like where they are, what color, mechanical modifications, model year, etc.?

There was an article a couple years back in Corvette Fever on a red one with Fikse wheels. Not sure what # it is or anything like that though. Very cool looking body kit IMO. I'd like to see more pics of your car

Well..... black & white & primer sort of one in Edmond!

Clint knows about only one, a red, 415 car with the first Aerobody and says it belongs to someone who never brings it out. I'm inclined to think this may be the one in the LPE website photos, and who knows, maybe the same one in the Corvette Fever article Jay mentioned.

We'll see if any others are known about by our ZR-1 family, since the Aerobody was only made for the ZR-1. :bar

Yes,the one on the LPE site and in that Corvette Fever article is the same car. It is LPE aerobody #01 and also has a LPE 415" stroker LT5.

Clint Hooper of the LT5 Registry is the only owner I know of.

Clints car is a Callaway Aerobody car. He owned a LPE body kit and has since sold it to somebody else.
