i heard john lingenfelter is in icu after a bad accident. did any one else hear this?

According to the latest AutoWeek, he's showing signs of an excellent recovery. He has control of all limbs so no permanent nerve damage or paralysis is evident. He's aware of his surroundings, and I believe is recognising his visitors.
For those who don't read our home page or AutoWeek, he was in a drag-race accident at the NHRA runoffs while driving a modded Chevy Cavalier. Lost control of the car, hit the wall in the OTHER lane, and apparently was knocked out on impact because the car continued under power to the end of the track where it was stopped by another wall.
