I have some relevant information on a 1962 Corvette that I will pass to the current owner, assuming I can locate them.
VIN is unknown, but would definitely be before 20867S104766. Most likely car was built in November or December of 1961.
Car is Roman Red, black interior, 250 hp, 4 speed and no other options. Car was ordered via the fleet program at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and delivered in December of 1961.
Car was registered in Hillsborough County Florida most of its early life. Car was sold to a used car dealer in Valdosta, GA in 1967.
Yes, I have tried the Florida and Georgia DMVs. Still trying that route, with the idea of confirming the VIN of the car.
Anyone owning a 62 Corvette fitting this description with Florida / Georgia ownership history please PM me.
Note: Car may have had options (like a radio, etc) added after the fact, so don't disqualify cars with easy to add options.
