Looking for a Tech

I finally got the car on the road:W! I knew it wasn't running right from just moving it around the driveway. It has all the power and gitty-up at full throttle but the driveability in traffic is just awful. It has a wicked stumble (Flat spot or hesitation) starting at lights and at a light throttle in traffic it bucks. I replaced the IAC valve that cured the stalling after reving it up and I replace the TPS and set it to .54. timing is where it should be.

I've read the book but don't have the tools to check most of the stuff. What I need is a trust worthy shop it take the car to. Most of the shops you folks all talk about are all way too far away to get to. I'm located 30 miles south west of Boston, the Milford, MA area. Anyone reading this know of someone in my area??? Are they around on a Saturday? Work during the week affords only a Saturday.

There are a lot of great knowledgeable vette owners in the milford area that are members of the Baystate Corvette Club. I myself live in Raynham, off exit 8 on 495, but pass through Milford daily for work. Have you had the opportunity to scan it with any sort of scan tool? How many miles are on the car? I'm always a fan of checking what the oxygen sensor is reading as they can cause a lot of grief when not working right due to age or malfunction.

The car has 59446 for milage.
YES! I have had the oportunity to have it scaned. It produced no codes at all. I'm told that the 85's didn't talk much as compaired with newer cars.
Are you a member of the Baystate Corvette Club? Do you recomend anyone?
