What do you think would be a proper price to pay for a 67 conv in need of restoration (i.e. almost everything under the hood, minor body work, frame in good condition) ?

Obviously this would vary greatly depending on the car, but I'm just looking for some general opinions. Thanks in advance.

You need to supply a lot more information about the car:

condition
engine size & horsepower
transmission
is it the right engine
has it been wrecked
pictures if possible

Could be anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000. Like was said, need LOTS more info.

427 with 450 hp, original w/ roughly 60,000 miles, no wreck, manual trans (4 speed), rest of car fair condition

The value differs greatly on "your" interests.

If you want originality, then 450hp means lower value. No 450hp engine in 1967.

"Rest of car fair condition". This could mean major dollars to you. The price of parts is astronomical.

How do I know?
