Low C4

Spring is out so is "lower control arms for polybushing install"

Passenger side top view with lower control arm removed. See you don't need to remove that many pieces.

I wish I could go lower, however, I have to drive up onto a 2x4 to get my jack under it now!

Dropping the front is a relatively simple job, I consider it much easier than the removal of my factory exhaust manifolds and the installation of Long Tube headers.
And when I had mine apart I increased the scope and difficulty of the job by replacing all of the suspension bushings with Energy Suspension Polygraphite bushings at the same time. None of my factory bushings were shot I just wanted a tighter ride and thought that after ten years and 50K my car and I deserved polys! So I don't know how much of the improved handling is due to the drop and how much is due to the removal of the factory rubber bushings.

But I think the car looks better than when it had the factory 4X4 ride height.

Beautiful car in all ways. It reflects your pride in ownership. I'm working towards what you have on my 87 vert, but I've got a long ways to go.
Keep the wave!!

Best wishes

Thanks, its my daily driver, snow, ice, rain, whatever! I believe it is a shame to put them away for the winter. I will probably do my winter prep today. (Install the hard top and replace the wipers) Good luck with your 87.
