Hi guys, ive got the low coolant light coming on in my vette now,ive checked the coolant level which is fine,so is it a dodgy sensor or something else? How much, and how hard is it to replace these?

Thanks in advance!!

I broke mine after I replaced the water pump but it's easy to replace. Not sure about draining the coolant because mine was empty at the time. I will say that the replacement I bought at AutoZone is not as accurate as the original one that I mangled.

I would start your car, let it warm up till the temp the Tstat opens at, then rev it to about 1500 and add all of the fluid you can and run it at that RPM for a couple mins to make sure there are no air pockets in your system. Make sure your overflow tube isn't plugged or anything, so the coolant has somewhere to go when it expands.
