Low Or No Fluid: 6 Spd Manual Trans

Okay, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I'll confess. In the 10+ yrs. I've owned my '94, I haven't changed or even checked my manual trans fluid level or condition. :ugh Please, don't yell at me. I have just put it off with, "its OK". I need to ask if LOW or NO transmission fluid in a 6 Spd manual will cause "slippage" or hesitation upon acceleration? Thanks for your kind responses.

manual transmissions do not/cannot slip. Clutches slip.

Low or no fluid will not cause slippage but low fluid level may cause transmission failure and no fluid at all will cause a failure.

If you've never changed/checked the fluid. Change it now.
