Does anyone know or have an opinion on running a 275/35/18 on the rear and staying with the stock size on front. The reason I am asking I may have a chance at some Mich. pilot, just the profile a little lower.

BTW mine is a 98, 6 speed in the need of tires in about 2,000 miles.

Thanks

If you read some of the threads around here about swapping tires and wheels you'll find comments about needing to reprogram the computer that controls the Active Handling and ABS. That computer needs to know that the tires are the same diameter (or at least very close to the same) as it is looking for. Otherwise, it will not be able to properly control the anti-lock braking and/or the active handling.

Check the diameter on the set you are looking at and see if they are within a reasonable tolerance of the diameter of your old tires.
